“My impression was that audiences were seriously impressed. More than one person described it as their favourite show at Limbo.”                   Matthew de Pulford – director Limbo

Space Interrupted is a project made up of artists, architects and curators working together to highlight, disrupt and re-frame industrial and vernacular buildings. The project also engages with a range of partners to get people moving around their local area by exploring and testing range of exciting cultural events and activities.

Three artists  inspired by former electricity substation  creating installations and projections to disrupt meaning and function. The interventions interrupt and overlap this industrial space,  layering and fragmenting imagery  whilst  revealing and concealing  aspects of it’s history thorugh an exploration of the world of work and play

Curator Clare Sheppeard worked with artists Zoe Fudge, Sharon Haward & Rachel Wilberforce to create an ambitious site-specific project at LIMBO, Substation Project Space Margate.  Partners for the project included GEEK-PLAY 2015, Margate Museum, ‘Point & Shoot’ photo tours, UCA & Dreamland Margate.
